At Rhythm Masters, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we issue refunds for our various services, including individual lessons, lesson packages, workshops, and merchandise.

By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully to understand your rights and options regarding refunds.

Refund Conditions for Individual Lessons

Cancellation by Student

  • More than 24 hours' notice: If you cancel an individual lesson with more than 24 hours' notice, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the lesson at no additional cost.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice: If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, no refund will be issued unless the cancellation is due to emergency circumstances, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • No-show: If you fail to attend a scheduled lesson without any prior notice, no refund will be issued.

Cancellation by Rhythm Masters

  • If we need to cancel a lesson for any reason (instructor illness, emergency, etc.), you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
  • If a suitable substitute instructor is not available and you prefer not to reschedule, a full refund will be issued.

Technical Issues (Online Lessons)

  • If technical difficulties on our end prevent an online lesson from proceeding as scheduled, we will offer a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.
  • If technical difficulties on your end prevent the lesson from proceeding, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you. If the issues cannot be resolved, our standard cancellation policy applies.

Refund Conditions for Lesson Packages

Unused Lessons in Package

  • For prepaid lesson packages, unused lessons are eligible for a partial refund under the following conditions:
    • Refund request must be submitted in writing
    • A £15 administration fee will be deducted
    • The refund amount will be calculated based on the regular individual lesson rate, not the discounted package rate (i.e., you will not receive a refund for the discount you received when purchasing the package)

Expiration

  • Lesson packages expire 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
  • No refunds will be issued for unused lessons after the package expiration date.

Transfer

  • Lesson packages may be transferred to another student with written approval from Rhythm Masters.
  • A £10 transfer fee will apply.

Refund Conditions for Workshops and Events

Cancellation by Participant

  • More than 7 days before the event: Full refund minus a 10% administration fee.
  • 3-7 days before the event: 50% refund.
  • Less than 3 days before the event: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost with our written approval.

Cancellation by Rhythm Masters

  • If we cancel a workshop or event, participants will receive a full refund.
  • If we need to reschedule a workshop or event, participants will have the option to attend on the new date or receive a full refund.

Refund Conditions for Merchandise

  • Unopened, unused merchandise in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.
  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or was shipped in error.
  • Defective items will be replaced or refunded at our discretion.
  • Custom or personalized merchandise is not eligible for return unless defective.

Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

  1. Submit your refund request in writing to refunds@rhythmmasters.com or through our contact form.
  2. Include your full name, service purchased, date of purchase, and reason for requesting a refund.
  3. For merchandise returns, include a copy of your receipt and photos of the items you wish to return.

Processing Time

  • We aim to process all refund requests within 5 business days of receipt.
  • Once approved, refunds will be issued using the original payment method:
    • Credit/debit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days
    • Bank transfers may take 3-5 business days
    • PayPal refunds are usually processed within 1-2 business days

Declined Refund Requests

  • If your refund request is declined, we will provide a written explanation.
  • You may appeal a declined refund by contacting our management team directly at management@rhythmmasters.com.

Exceptions to the Refund Policy

Special Promotions

Some promotions, sales, or special offers may have different refund terms. These terms will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, etc.), we reserve the right to modify our refund policy as necessary. We will make every effort to reschedule services or provide reasonable alternatives before issuing refunds.

Student Misconduct

We reserve the right to refuse service and deny refunds to students who engage in inappropriate behavior, harassment, or violate our code of conduct.

Satisfaction Guarantee

For new students, we offer a satisfaction guarantee for your first lesson. If you are not completely satisfied with your first lesson, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will either:

  • Arrange a lesson with a different instructor at no additional cost
  • Provide a full refund for the first lesson

This satisfaction guarantee applies only to the first lesson and cannot be combined with other promotional offers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Changes to the Refund Policy are effective when they are posted on this page. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction.
